Each day is a new day. Each day is new birth. Each day is new blood. Don't take the baggage from the day before into this new trading frame. That day is tainted. A big successful day can taint the following day with over confidence and over trading. A hemorrhaged day can be followed by timid, late entries that make excessive demands on your psyche for 'confirmation'. Instead, try to start clean. The Trader has no memory. That's the Accountant's function. He remembers everything. He is the history of our regrets. The Analyst has no memory. He will over trade endlessly until at last one of his predictions actually works. Then he'll say, quite in earnest, "I told you so. The world should be listening to me." The Trader is, well, kinda stupid. He only knows what's in his Trade Plan. And if what happened yesterday didn't manage to creep into the laminated Trade Plan he has before him as the Opening Bell rings, he does the same thing he did yesterday, when presented with it, at the right edge of his video screen. He's Andy Warhol's famous quote, "I want to be a machine."
