But knowing that doesn't necessarily make it any easier to overcome. And one aspect of clawing your way out of a losing period is the importance of putting your errors and the markets that accompanied them well behind you. If not, then you're likely to skip taking the opportunities as they present themselves in order to avoid more mistakes--and suffer the consequences to your bottom line.
