Giving up nearly all early profits in pursuit signals coming late in frame is not a good habit nor a good way to begin the New Year. Fortunately, a very oversold signal did come at the Gap Close that proved recuperative...to say the least. But the best trades were not the fades today, even the one at the TF HOD with also gave a clear signal. No, with the current climate one of such extreme volatility, a better New Years resolution would be to take the Inflection Break-Outs, and go with the volatility, instead of trying to nail it at the pivot and exhaustion levels. Two of those today, would have netted clean profits quite early, and been far less painful. ....if I could but only get my head around breakouts.... and wishing all the best in their trading, their lives, and for the country overall in the coming New Year ahead.
