Taking too many trades is usually a sign of a day not going. Nothing can be harder than trading the Persistent Trend Day Model. A casual observer to the extent of the trend might easily surmise otherwise. But when nearly 80% of the days in a month are the Test-n-Reject model, with 1st Frame swings in both directions, playing Persistent Trend strategies in the early going on most days racks up the losses pretty quickly. So, you are left awaiting a pullback that doesn't materialze on a Persistent Trend Day, buying breakouts that fail on the majority of days, or fading the ever-extending extremes with an eye to catching the inevitable--but oh so tardy pullback.
